Creative director Elliott Chaffer of Trollbäck+Company teamed up with Christopher Webb at FX WRX to create the main-on-end titles for the 2018 Motion Conference. Designer Pat King brought both motion graphics and handmade art objects to the effort. In-camera FX and black and white cinematography allowed the team to deconstruct and explore the Motion logo. Trollbäck+Company Chief Creative Officer Alex Moulton composed original music. The piece screened at the conclusion of Motion 2018, and commemorates the end of an era, marking the final year of the “un-conference” founded by Elaine Montoya and Becky Padilla in 2007. Christopher Webb joined Elliott Chaffer and title designers Kyle Cooper, Garson YU, Erin Sarofsky, and John Lepore as featured presenters.
